As pet owners, we invest a lot of time and money into our pets. The right dog food, regular vet check ups, vaccinations and even exercise. The one area however that I think gets bypassed the most is hygiene! That's right! Even your pup should get a teeth cleaning probably more often than you think!

As often as we consider a grooming session or a jaunt outside, we need to be thinking of oral hygiene. I think for optimum healthy gums and teeth, a dog's teeth should be brushed at least 3-4 times a week. Not saying you need to start today and expect your pooch to just lay there and let you do it that often! It's definitely a work in progress and something you have to "ease" into. Lots of love and treats seem to always make this new additions easier!
